Why put stuff that doesnt work in canada in the Canadian store?

if it worked in canada than i would consider using it. the platform is good however it could be a lot better. carfax is useless as it does not give u accident history anymore. please make this app for canada!

As a service advisor, I work with 20-30 vehicles per day. This app makes that process much cooler, cleaner, impressive for the customer watching me, makes my life easier (no missed letters when writing down vin numbers to open the Repair Order. ) yes it is Americanized but the CBB app is supposed to get around that. I tried to load it but it requires me to call someone to get an account. Why? Otherwise this app rules! Sometimes have to take pics of a vehicle and submit them to the manufacturer for prior approval. This links the pics to the vin and transfers from my phone to my computer faster than I can get back to my desk from the car. Its awesome. Customers think its cool. I think so too. Not cool that it has a popup ad after every scan but its only a quick "x" to close. So meh.. a minor annoyance in an amazing app. Not sure if the sales tools work but for my application I love it!!!

Have had the app for 2 years, system periodically goes down. Horrible customer service. Bottom line you get what you pay for. When working great app and best price.

This app is not for the average person but for someone who deals with cars on a daily basis. The "free" version gives you no real information about any automobile or manufacturers. It wont even dissect your own vin number to let you understand how it is made up. So unless youre some type of auto trade dont bother with this one.

App has been down for a week. I cant get in touch with anyone to try to get it fixed. Horrible horrible customer service.

Vinviper not functional Poor tech support, never answer or return calls. Cant print bookouts, reports feature never works, scanner works when wants to. Sent emails, left voice mail, NO Response. Getting NADA thru my DMS. This is how I make a living I dont have time to screw around with dysfunctional apps.

This works great and is the best out there WHEN IT WORKS! The servers are constantly down, the app locks up consistently and crashes - it just plain doesnt work especially when I need it most at the auction. For a company supposedly founded by people in IT you would think they would have it down pretty good but that is just not the case. I switched to Autoniq after struggling with Vin Viper for over a year. Autoniq doesnt look as pretty but I never have issues and it works when I need it most. To dealers considering this - it is the cheapest out there for getting an "all in one" apprisal tool but for good reason. Look elsewhere.

I loved everything about this app, when it worked!! After leaving many stranded at the auction multiple times, Im finally giving up on Viper.. Believe when I say stay away, customer service is non existent.

New post: Now, after finally getting in touch with customer support, resetting app. All seam getting back to normal. I really have to say knowing now that they been hacked, it was not easy task to deal with. That is todays reality. Hope that they will improve and stay ahead, preventing often system downs and slow or no access to the application. Will follow if anything change. This will help us to decide is it worth to stay with VinViper in the future. Hope to rich rating of 5 stars soon. Old post: Horrible, service! System constantly down! Book is not working, market matrix, app. Slow or not opening at all. What happens, it used to be good application for a year. Since we renewed our contract recently everything went down. Does anyone listen?! We need our money back!

Great Tool!

When I signed up to use this application, it required me to pay a yearly fee. Not monthly, not every three months, but a yearly subscription. Come to find out that during my most busy time of the year which is tax season, their system went down and NO ONE, picked up the phone, answered their FaceBook or anything. Many dealers including myself had to switch to other companies and well as you might have guessed already, we lost our money on this app as well. We were NOT reimbursed for all the months it was down and for all the bugs and how inefficient these people are. Interested in this product? Do research and read reviews! Look at their FaceBook and read the comments of how people were asking for their money back. Apparently they are coming out with a new version. However what happens when they cannot fulfill the customer needs and go to their hideout again. Where is all of our money going. As of now I have not received a refund for this app after it crashed three months in use. Where is my money for the other 9 months of it not working??

I have used them for a couple years now, they have a continuing crash problem. When this happens you can not reach ANYONE At the company . I have left before and came back , today I leave forever. Went to autoniq

Very disappointed, app and their severs have problems all the time. Not sure when can they fix they problems.

App doesnt work at least not on iphone5

Im giving 2 stars the support called me today as I was at the auction and helped me on a few things but I still cant get the scanner to scan on my iPhone 5 I will NOT use after the demo period

Vin Viper finally made the system easier to MANAGE and USE.

Just downloaded new version. Old one was working great. Camera now glitches and focuses in and out non stop and wont scan any vin#s
